Celebrate Easter in Miami

Easter marks the beginning of spring but for other parts like sunny Miami, it’s the season for beaches and bikinis. But why should you stick to the beach or stay in your furnished apartments when there is so much to do in Miami?

For art enthusiasts, the Weiner Museum of Decorative Arts will be holding the African Animals & Botanicals Exhibition from March 26 to April 27. Here you can enjoy an assortment of Ardmore ceramic sculptures, all handcrafted to share the native stories of the Zulu culture.

The family will also love Miami Seaquarium’s Spring Camp. A family-friendly and environmentally friendly workshop, this year’s theme will be centered on “Conservation Quest” where children from kindergarten to high school can enjoy a week-long activity while learning how to save the environment by being aware and educated about the different environmental issues occurring today such as pollution and habitat instruction.

For the party animals out there who simply can’t wait for a chance to just go all out, the SLS Hotel on Collins Avenue will be playing host to March 27’s Miami Music Week: Pool Party Featuring NERVO and Friends. The night will be filled with fun and music together with DJs Nervo, Armand Van Helden, Chuckie and many more. Speaking of Miami Music Week, Wall Lounge Miami Beach will be holding its own set of festivities starting March 19 all the way until March 29. There will be music from the country’s hottest leading DJs and other guest artists. It is a music-filled event you simply don’t want to miss out.

If partying all night long isn’t your thing, probably laughing all night long is. Renowned comedian Kevin Hart will be live in Germain Arena on March 27. Meanwhile, over at American Airlines Arena, Ariana Grande will be holding her concert on the same day. Grande was known for her role in the popular Nickelodeon series ‘Victorious’ as Cat Valentine and is the hit maker behind the songs Problem and The Way. If you are a fan of burlesque or would like to see a new side to dancing the South Miami-Dade Cultural Arts Center will be holding the Cabaret Follies on March 28. This variety show will not only boast freely of the art of French cabaret but will also boast a variety of dances from can-can and burlesque while keeping a light heart air thanks to comedy. The cabaret will be in town for one night only on March 28.

However, if you are feeling a bit charitable you can always head over to the Coral Springs Tennis Center as they will be holding the Annual Race for Women’s Welness Half-Marathon & 5K/Walk on March 28. It is a health and wellness, family-friendly fundraiser held by the Broward Health Coral Springs in partnerships with the City of Coral Springs. This will mark their 10th annual half-marathon/walk event. Meanwhile, over at Doubletree Miami Mart/Airport Hotel and Exhibition Center, there will be a Brides Against Breast Cancer Charity Wedding Gown Sale which is a bridal fashion show and benefit fundraiser for the Making Memories Breast Cancer Foundation. Brides to be can take this perfect opportunity to find their ideal wedding gowns at an affordable price. It will run from March 28 to 29.
