Dadeland Mall’s new Microsoft store will be will be having Build an App in an Hour workshops and classes for college students with ideas that can be turned into the future superstar apps. Job seekers might want to head over to Roberto Alonso Community Center at Royal Oaks Park on April 21 for the Veterans Job Fair. It is an open and free event for veterans, past and present, and businesses all over Miami-Dade in hopes to give them a life after service. Veterans are encouraged to join and bring along their valid ids including driver’s licenses, DD-214 that indicates type of discharge or equivalent for National Guard/Reserve and resume.

Here like-minded individuals can engage into insightful discussions while encouraging intellectual thinking on the topic “How to Close the Deal”. For Earth Day, the Vizcaya Museum and Garden will be holding the event ConSerVations: Trash Detectives on April 22. Here learners from all walks of life will be guided on the journey of our trash that are being washed up to our shores. If you are a craft beer enthusiast, you’re in for a treat as the Craft Beer Cartel will be holding homebrew classes with in-house brewer Jonathan Jackman. Every class will be held at the last Saturday of every month.

 

Sport fans won’t be left out as the Washington Nationals and the Miami Marlins face off in their MLB match up at Marlins Park on April 24. They will also have matched on April 25 and April 26.
