Halloween in South Beach: Don’t Skip a Missed Heartbeat

Although Miami doesn’t seem to be a hub spot for Halloween, spending time away from your furnished apartment will definitely give you a head start. That being said, South Beach isn’t just a place to get a tan this October (other states are cooling down this month), but also a place where you can experience the chills and thrills of Halloween. Regardless if you’re a resident or a tourist, here are some events and places that you would want to visit and attend:

Halloween Fright Night at Zoo Miami

Aside from being a host to numerous animals, Zoo Miami will hold the Halloween Fright Night on October 31 starting at eight until midnight. Of course, this event is not recommended for kids under 14: making it a perfect event for couples. $12 a person you can come in your favorite costume and celebrate with live actors, DJs, live bands, and many food trucks.

It’s not trick-or-treating but it’s definitely a great way to spend Halloween. Why not end October on a high and partying note? Oh, and you don’t have to worry about the animals.

Miami Children’s Museum

If you’re living in a fully furnished apartment with your family then spending Halloween with them should definitely be prioritized. Since kids can’t handle monsters and gory stuff, why not go to a not so scary haunted house?

Starting October 21 until October 31 the Miami Children’s Museum will open a haunted house perfect for the whole family. It’ll feature a baby Tyrannosaurus rex which moves on it’s own, along with a number of scary clowns, zombies, and hunting Music. It will also feature Pirates, a dinosaur graveyard, and a pumpkin patch.

Dolphin Mall Halloween event

The Dolphin Mall will once again have its annual “Spooktacular” event. If you’re looking to have fun with your whole family try to stop by at the mall. You will definitely enjoy sing-alongs, games, and seeing balloon artists create animal balloons. kids on their costumes can even go out and go trick-or-treating. The event will also have three costume contests for kids of different ages. Just be sure to watch over your kids though!

Dr. Wilde’s Creepy House

If you’re looking for a haunted house that’ll make your heart skip a beat, go to Zoo Miami once again. From October 17-31, Dr. Wilde’s Creepy House will be open to everyone, and it features large cockroaches infesting a kitchen, and cats going over the house have a dead grandma.

Don’t worry though, this haunted house is filled with live actors, not the stuff coming out of your nightmares. You wouldn’t have to worry about A large flying cockroach attacking you once you step in.

So, maybe it’s time to get out of your furnished apartment and explore the spooky ambiance of South Beach. Just be sure to visit the aforementioned places. You will definitely enjoy Halloween in South Beach if you do so, regardless if you’re going with your family or your loved one.
