One of the places families should never forget to visit is Zoo Miami. Founded in 1948 and formerly known as Miami Metrozoo and Crandon Park Zoo, this is one of the few pre-eminent, open-air animal enclosures in the world. Residing are over 100 exhibits, 40 of which are endangered species. What is heavily emphasized is conservation and education, perfect if you want your family to have fun but also keep the trip as educational as possible.
