Royal Caribbean International by Miami Vacation rentals  – The Royal Caribbean International was founded in 1968. It is a Norwegian/American cruise line brand. At first it was known as the “Royal Caribbean Cruise Line” and then after it merged with the Greek cruise line “Celebrity Cruises” it was changed to “Royal Caribbean International”.

Enhancements for ships

On the 13th November 2010 Royal Caribbean announced enhancements for its fleet known as “seas”.

Betsy O´Rourke, senior vice president of Marketing, Royal Caribbean International said that the revitalisations to their ships were due to the extraordinary success of the Oasis – class ships.

Five huge and marvellous ships were selected to receive the improvements during 2011: Radiance of the Seas, Splendour of the Seas, Oasis of the Seas, Liberty of the Seas and Freedom of the Seas.

The Vice President of marketing for the Company also said that he felt proud that he can now deliver more to its customers.

Splendour of the Seas

The updates will be two new specialty restaurants, the Park Café, the Royal Babies and Tots Nursery, new incredible gadgets such as flat-panel televisions and there will also be Wi- Fi installed for all the ship.

Radiance to the Seas

This will have new specialty restaurants such as The Samba Grill Brazilian Steakhouse, Mexican-themed restaurant and a Chef´s Table to enjoy great dinning.

Oasis of the Sea

It will have a splendid 3-D films room where the guests will be able to enjoy an incredible Dream Works Experience. And it will have a new Starbucks, the first-ever Starbucks cafe at sea.

Freedom of the Seas and Liberty of the Seas

These two will also have new updates such as new restaurants and a 3d-film room.

These and much more will be added to the enormous ships of Royal Caribbean.

More about The Oasis-class

Oasis of the Seas is the world´s largest passenger ship as at November 2009. It is able to transport up to 6,296 passengers included third and fourth floor passengers. It cost an average of US $ 1.4 billion. But was constructed as a new oasis class at STX Europe´s Finland Cruise Yards, Turku, Finland and was delivered on 28 October 2010.

A monster in the sea: Oasis of the Sea

The Oasis of the Sea is a huge ship which has a vast amount of space where you can enjoy the sight of the splendid rooms. This is a true monster of the Sea created by one of the most incredible engineers in the world.

With its 220,000 tons it is able to transport over 6000 passengers. It has plenty of bars, clubs, lounges, Latin dance rhythms and so much more to enjoy for an exciting journey over the sea
