If you’re in for the week in Miami, you’re just in luck as the city never runs out of events and things to do. What more is that the week is jam-packed with family-friendly activities that visiting families should not miss out on.

Feel like dancing or do you want to learn how to dance for a change? There will be Free Tango Classes and Milonga with Diego Santana at Siga la Vaca Restaurant. This is held every Wednesday night starting April 15.

If you’re looking for a whole new twist to the concept of a tour, guided tours are being held at the Fruit & Spice Park every day from 10 am – 5pm. Fruit & Spice Park is a 37-acre public park owned and operated by the Miami-Dade Country Park and Recreation Department. What’s great is that guests are allowed to enjoy the fresh fruits and produce available for them in the park through the tasting counter or at the park’s restaurant.

For history and museum enthusiasts and those who love a bit of a mystery, Vizcaya Museum and Garden brings a whole new twist to visiting museums with Inside Vizacaya: Museum Forensics. Some objects from the museum are gone while some mysteriously show up and guests will be plunged deep into how these artifacts are tracked down and retrieved. What’s more is that this is also kid-friendly, so families can take this opportunity to teach their children about history and in a fun way. This event is only a one-time opportunity on April 15 from 6:30 pm to 9pm.

Over at Surfside is the 3rd Thursdays in Surfside community event. Enjoy Latin entertainment with the family and indulge in delicious food from the many truck vendors all over Miami. This month’s event will be on April 16. On April 17 is Arch Creek Park’s Campfire & Night Hike, a perfect nature-related activity for the family to let them appreciate the sights and sounds only nature has to offer during nighttime. Not only that, but the naturalists of Arch Creek will also be holding fun activities around the campfire including marshmallow roasting! Yum.

Looking for a culture twist as a family activity? The Morikami Museum and Japanese Garden will be holding their Hatsume Fair on April 18 to celebrate the first buds of spring. Enjoy unique Japanese entertainment such as taiko performances, martial arts, and bonsai demonstrations, and great food.

Job hunters will be delighted to know that Shula’s Hotel on Main Street will be holding a Job News Career Fair on April 15 from 10 am to 2 pm. This is your opportunity to meet prospective employers and be hired on the spot! Don’t forget to wear your best business suit and bring copies of your resume.

Over at YoungArts Miami in Biscayne Boulevard, is the free event called Love! Rage!! Passion!!! The World of Zines Exhibition. Co-curated by Cristina Favretto of the Special Collections at the University of Miami and Amanda Keeley of Exile Books, the gallery features the new-found interest of the youth on zine as well as touches the reason why it has become a form of expression for them.

Living a stress-filled life? Maybe it’s time for a change in scenery. The South Florida Rehabilitation & Wellness Center, Inc. is holding an event, Stress Less. Live More., in honor of April as National Stress Awareness Month. This event aims to help increase awareness of stress and why does it affect our health greatly. It will also feature ways on how one can manage their stress and live a healthier life. There will be two sessions, one on April 15 and another on April 29.

If you are a fan of craft beer, you simply don’t want to miss out on the VeritageMiami – Craft Beer Tasting at Wynwood Walls on April 15. Over 100 craft beers and micro-brews will be in attendance as well as feature a lot of food and street performers. The event will be for the benefit of the United Way of Miami-Dade. Another food-related event you should not miss is the Annual Paella-Fest over at Fritz & Franz Bierhaus from April 17 to April 19. There will be live music, drink specials, and a lot of paella.
