Did you know that on this day of the Summer month, families gather at the Surfside beach. Everyone simply enjoys a day for a communal picnic. Where else can you find this kind of activity where music and entertainment whispers to your ears while you’re having a great time with your kids? Picture families eating together in a tepee village where kids would join and interact in a drum circle. So, if you’re ready, start preparing what you would need for Friday at four to seven at night at 93rd Street in Surfside.

Magical Music Tales
Does Dr. Seuss name ring a bell? This family-friendly show is based on the works of Dr. Seuss. If you could still remember, ‘Horton Hears a Who’ along with the other titles was turned into a movie. The moment you step into the Balcony Theatre at the Actor’s Playhouse, you will notice that Dr. Seuss’ works such as ‘The Cat in the Hat’ and a lot of classic tales that touched the heard of all the children for decades now are incorporated. The gates at the theatre will open at seven and two in the evening. Listen to the music along with the actors playing to it.

The Little Mermaid
Everybody knows Ariel, the mermaid who made her father, King Triton upset. Witness a different captivating love story between a human and a mermaid. This Friday at 8PM, Miami will turn into an underwater adventure as a mermaid falls in love with a human Prince named, Eric. The magical music weekend didn’t end as songs like ‘Under the Sea’, ‘Part of Your World’, and ‘Kiss the Girl’ captures your heart as these irresistible melodies plays. Susan B. Katz Theater of Performing Arts will surely be filled with audience who love and enjoy going under the sea this weekend, including Saturday at 2PM and 8PM. You don’t want to miss this final weekend of the Little Mermaid. As you head to the River of GrassArts Park, your $15 spent won’t be a regret.

When Kids have their happy moments, Fridays will always be fantastic not just for oldies, but for kids as well. Now, you don’t have to wonder why this event at the Arts Park at the Young Circle in Hollywood Boulevard has been ranked as the 8th of the top 10 places to take your kids in South Florida by Channel 10. From 5 to 8PM this Friday, you and your kids will enjoy face-painting, bounce houses, and games. Not to mention watching the 1997 movie ‘Air Bud’ where a boy discovers about his dog which is a Golden Retriever having a talent to shoot the ball. The show will start right after the events at 8PM.
