If you’re visiting Miami with the family, and you’re an art connoisseur or an avid sports fan in the area, you’re in for the week of your life as this week is loaded with activities for the family and events for any sports fan. So relax in your furnished apartments or hotel rooms and enjoy the week.

Here are the recommended events and activities for families to go to when in Miami this week.

Jungle Island will be holding its Feed Our Birds Around the Park bird feeding. If you prefer nature walks then Jungle Island also plays host to its Everglades Habitat & Walk where the replica of the Florida Everglades will not only just show the beauty of the flora and fauna but also allow you to witness the feeding habits of the resident alligators. Both events start on April 27 all the way to July.

The Miami Auto Museum will be having the auto show/ auto racing/antique collection named The Miami Auto Museum at the Dezer Collection. This family-friendly auto event features a rare collection of vehicles from motorcycles to mopeds to the cars driven and ridden by famous Hollywood stars. Here you can also view the largest, privately owned Vespa collection in the world and many more! The exhibit opens on April 27 and lasts until December from 10 am to 6pm.

Join the biggest and highly anticipated run of the year. Huizenga Plaza plays host to this year’s Color Run where it is a fun-filled and color-doused 5K fun run. Families are encouraged to bring along their children without the pressure of time limits! Color Run will be on May 2 starting at 7:30 am.

The following are events that every art enthusiast might think about placing in their week’s itinerary.

Over at Sirona Fine Art will be the art show named Innerscapes & Landscapes by the hottest rising artists Jean-Paul Mallozzi and John Sanchez. The exhibit is free for all and will run starting April 27. Over at Frost Art Museum is the Aesthetics & Values Exhibitionled by John Bailly. Here visitors and students are exposed on how art can be used as a tool to promote social change. The art show will on from April 28.

For those avid sports fans, take note of the hottest sports events this week.

The New York Mets and Miami Marlins will be having a match at Marlins Park from April 27 to April 29 at 7:10 pm while the Miami Marlins will take on the Philadelphia Phillies on May 1 to May 3.

You’re also in luck as the boxing event of the century between Floyd Mayweather and the Philippines’ Manny ‘Pacman’ Pacquiao on their much-awaited UFC Welterweight Champion Fight will be on May 2 at 9pm and there are several establishments around Miami that you could watch the match while having something good to eat and drink. The Cavalli Club Miami will be having their Hola Saturdays at Cavalli Restaurant Presents Manny Pacquiao vs. Floyd Mayweather UFC Welterweight Champion Fight. Enjoy great Italian food while you cheer on for your bet.

Touche Rooftop Lounge & Restaurant and E11EVEN Miami will also play host for those who want to see the match in pay-per-view glory. For those who want to watch it with a private party, they can provide you with VIP rooms and VIP seating. All of which with a great menu starting at $20.If you prefer to go drinking while watching the fight then head over to Fado Irish Pub. For only $25, not only you get to see the match, you also get two free drinks to go with that starting at 7:30 pm all the way to 11:30 pm. Food events aside, the North Miami Public Library will be holding a Meditation and Yoga Class at the old high school gym. The event is free for all and runs from 6:30 pm to 8 pm on April 27.
